How to Create a New Plan in ChargeBee
You can create plans in ChargeBee with each plan corresponding to a specific set of features that your customers would subscribe to. To create a new plan in your ChargeBee site, follow these steps:

- Access Product Catalog: Click on Product Catalog and then select Plans.
- Create a New Plan: Click on Create Plan.
- Select Product Family: Choose the product family to which you want to associate this plan.
- Enter Plan Details:
- Plan Name: Enter the name of the plan.
- Internal Name: Specify an internal name to help identify the plan internally. This name is used to refer to the plan on your ChargeBee site.
- Plan ID: A plan ID is generated based on the internal name you specify. It serves as the unique identifier of the plan and is used when a subscription is created or updated via the API from your application or website.
- Description: Add a description to include additional details about the plan.
- Enable Options:
- Self-Serve Portal: Enable this checkbox to make the plan available in the self-serve portal, allowing customers to make changes to their subscription.
- Display in Checkout: Enable this checkbox to make the plan available in Checkout, allowing customers to subscribe using Checkout.
- Specify Redirect URL: Enter a redirect URL for this plan. ChargeBee will redirect your customers to this URL once they complete the checkout successfully.
- Create the Plan: Click on Create. The plan is successfully created.
- Edit or Delete the Plan: You can edit or delete the plan from the same page.
- View Currency and Billing Frequency: This page displays all your currency and billing frequency combinations in which you would possibly sell this plan. These are fetched based on the currencies and billing frequencies that you configure for your ChargeBee site.
- Set Pricing: Click on Set Price and enter the pricing details.
